The ‘Lingam’ or ‘Shiv Linga’ is a symbol of male creative energy and is rested on the base which is ‘Yoni’ a symbol of the Goddess of Shakti which is female creative energy.
It represents the ultimate union of Shiva and Shakti into the One i.e. God
I saw them while travelling on the Bhojpur road above the Kaliasot River.
